How about some photos? I was out shoveling this morning and the lake-effect snow broke for a little while and the skies cleared completely. Beautiful!
(Northeast Grand Rapids for those wondering)

I agree. They are great pictures. Being from Southern California and Nevada I have never been in snow like that before. I would like to experience it one day.

Well, I'm a Michigander transplanted to Denver....can I join in?
I'm happy that my SIL's cancer remains in remission, that my mom didn't break any bones when she fell on the ice last week, and that I've lost 9 pounds due to exercising at the YMCA 4 days a week.
None of it is Michigan specific, but I still miss Michigan!

Good news
Good news you want good news? How about the melt down today, CW and BOA going t!ts up?
How about the fed meeting unscheduled to drop the interest rates an unpresedented 3/4 point?
How about all the lala idiots that kept saying things are fine things are fine, now are saying that a recession is inevitable?
You want good news I am afraid there is none.
Michigan will go down the tubes, all the educations will not help this economy we are going into. I think you should look to lose 40 to 50% value on your homes this next year.
I bet there will still be some that try to push off that things will turn around for michigan, I even agree but it will be a very long time.
I am not even going to try to make a smart remark, it is past that, all I can say is good luck to you.
