Well, I just like the spirit of the Michiganders. Tempered by tough times.

The rest of the country could learn from you guys.

That is positive thinking -- but what if you're wrong? Now that the rest of the country is heading into recession -- what if it's not first in - first out but first in - last out?

It does not matter whether we are first out or last out. It only matters whether we can get through it no matter how long it lasts. We can.

We are well into the recession. I cannot be wrong about that. It is a fact. It has been going on for at least three years. It may last six years, might may last only four. It is possible that it may last ten, but that is highly unlikely. The bottom line is that we are well into the recession, we are surviving. However long it is, we will get through it. There is a very good chance that we are half way through or more.

My brother works in Metamora making 20 dollars an hour, usually 50 hours a week and lives in Lapeer. He gets to drive down beautiful Metamora road back and forth to work. Sounds good to me.
