Gettin' a little bummed out over all these negative posts. I know everyone is having a tough time right now, but does anyone out there have anything positive to post?
Here's my positive post for the day; Woke up above ground this morning, WOO HOO! ![]() |

There are plenty of positive posts on this forum!
Some of us indeed post about the hard times, and then someone else jumps in to 'balance it out'. I have said it before, but it is best to hear BOTH sides to form an opinion. This forum has been refreshing to me. Some agree, some disagree with whatever I post. But because most keep their replies polite, it has been interesting and informative reading. |

You just learn to ignore all the constantly negative bores who reside here.
2007 was our best year ever in every way possible and 2008 is looking to be just as good if not better We love where we live, we love our lives, and we love the fact that we too woke up above ground this morning! ![]() |

Those who rely on wealth alone for their happiness are the ones who fall apart the fastest when it is gone, while the rest of us carry on as usual because our happiness (while easier when you can pay your bills) is found in our family and our personal relationships. There is much more to life than monetary means, the sooner people find that out, the happier they will be.
After 7 years of employment issues (yes, thats 7 folks!) and moving across the country twice. My husband and I are still married, still happy and yes, still in debt. We could have quit SO many times, but we didn't. We even managed to buy our first home last year. However, the most important lesson we have learned in our (still young) marriage, is that money does NOT buy happiness. The sooner people figure that out, the happier they will be. |

Let's see...I'm grateful that I voted today
I have a warm, cozy home, clothes on my back, healthy food, a loving husband, a car that runs, and my health. So much to be grateful for today...I'm grateful for Metro Detroit because that is where my family and friends primarily live. There's good restaurants around here, good shopping, and good live music. Life is good ![]() |

I'm training for my first 5K run coming up in March, and I've already met my goals for the pace I wanted to run it. Woohoo!

I'm grateful that I was able to walk 2 miles today. I'm grateful that my prize is a nice cold brewski in a nice warm house.
