Lewiston is on a distinguished road
Arrow Lewiston Area

Hello there... I live in the Lewiston area.. Im south of Lewiston by Garland.
Jobs up here are not many. The financial might be something like a bank teller. realestate is slow everything for sale around here. Ive been looking for work here also.. But the only job i could get is at Miejers job in gaylord
and its only minumin wage. Ive also went and got my CDL license and payed good money for it.. And cant get a job there because everyone wants 1-2 yrs exp... and I only see jobs here in the min wage area. I am retired from General Motors also.. I found out to do anything up here like shopping you have to go to gaylord. Which is 32 miles for me 1 way. now you pay more for gas.. gas is running about 2.64 right now. the winters is hard also.. Lots of snow.. Plan on doing snow removal and a daily basis.
I do a lot of hunting. I raise bird dogs also.. I enjoy hunting but after that it get tough up here.. the first winters were alright. but now there getting boring.. we got rid of our sleds because it got costly in oil and gas and since I retired ive seen it is more costly up here.. My heat bill in the winter was running about 190 monthly.. And I have natural gas. if you could get one of them outside woodburners i here they are great in cutting down heat cost... they even heat your hot water... Well lets get back to living here wife is going crazy. now because she has a grandchild.. missing her.
And we do have High speed internet if you live in the right area.. I have it now. just got it.. but out by where you say i dont think it there yet. for the oil companys I havent heard of any job there. unless you want to work on the oil drilling rigs and they move all around the country from what i here.. so you might be here or in another state.. and not that good of paying jobs for that.. And Garland just went under new managment. and are hiring but I dont know what or how much for pay.. Well if you need any more info feel free to contact me and if I can help i would be glad to help.. And watch out for who you contract to do work for you... Ive been lucky on that.. but i heard a few storys on that.. hope i help you somewhat... Ken
