Default Check the state parks
Some of the state parks have cabins for rent, and they can be very private (about $65 per night). Many are heated by wood or propane stoves and have privated gated driveways, so it's like owning your own slice of heaven, if only for a couple of days.

Man the memories of camping in hoffmaster state park in muskegon. There were always new kids to meet and I loved walking from the campground the the beach! I've been to the grand haven campground but the memories were never the same, nothing in my opinion has compared to Muskegon. Grand haven would be my last choice.
