Could I get a answer to this. If you lease a car.are you the one who must pay the bill for any car repairs? I heard people say yes and some say no.Are there any leasers out there that can tell me.Like if the brakes fail I would have to pay?

Depends on the repairs. Most leases run out before most warranties do, so you should usually be covered.

I know nothing about leasing. Are there examples you could give where the lessee might be on the hook?

Ok just general like if the brakes fail. I know you are res. for dents or scratches. Or if a hose starts leaking.

The manufacturer's warranty is the same for a purchased or leased vehicle.
Try not to lease a new vehicle past the manufacture's warranty.

If the brakes are a part defect, they would be covered. Wear and tear, brake pads and rotors? The owner's responsibility.
Leasing is pretty much the same as any new car under warranty. Manufacturer defects and faulty parts are covered. Maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires, etc...) are the lessee's responsibility.

Is there some acceptable level of scratches?
It seems a bit unreasonable to expect a 2 or 3 year old car to look brand new.
