Default moving from grosse pointe to ann arbor

We have lived in Grosse Pointe for 8 years (originally from Cincinnati, OH) and have two young children. My husband is about to get a new job in the Ann Arbor area, Tecumseh to be precise. Instead of doing the 2-3 hour round-trip commute every day, we've decided to move closer to the new job. Any suggestions for areas around there to move to? Quality of schools are most important. Thanks for any suggestions!

Yes. Look at Tecumseh. Some friends recently moved there and absolutely love it.

Also consider Saline and Clinton. Chelsea, Dexter. . . all wonderful towns.

saline is a very nice area. perhaps more similar to grosse pointe than the others mentioned. the schools in and around ann arbor are also top notch. good luck in your move. it's a great area to be going to.
