Just curious if anyone can remember the "good ole' days"? Flint was fun in the 50's/60's - dances at Cook School in the summer; ice skating at Ballenger Park; sledding down the big hills at the golf courses (Mott and Swartz Creek); cruisin' through the "A" on Clio Rd.; how about movies at the Della, the Palace, the Capitol? Anyone enjoy the circus at the IMA? I met Michael Landon at a televised fund raiser at the Durant Hotel - then there's all the great shows that came to the Whiting! There was plenty of fun - it was our own little world. Nothing is perfect - nor does it ever stay the same - except for the memories. What are yours?

I met Little Joe and Gunther Toody at the Durant Hotel too -same event I'm sure. It was March of Dimes. The 50's and early 60's were GLORIUS in Flint.
