does anyone know how far romeo is from troy?? is it a good community?? how are the schools?? crime levels?? and are there conviences stores like walmart etc nearby???
also
are there any other small towns that are nice not far from troy?? i know its alot to ask but we are thinking about relocating and buying a home there!! romeo had alot of nice older style homes reasonably priced more house for your dollar!!! thanks everyone

Depending on rush hour or not, Romeo is 30-45 minutes from Troy. It is a nice community with good schools. Every modern convenience (like Walmart ) is nearby. It is a safe town, though I recall when I was looking for houses there that the locals considered part of the town less desirable--though I wouldn't take that to mean unsafe, just that the houses weren't kept up as well. In general, Romeo has some sections that are very upscale and populated by executive families from the Detroit area who wanted a more small-town atmosphere.

P.S.--You might also want to consider Clarkston. Same sort of story, but would be much easier to get to Troy from.
