Default Washtenaw or Oakland County-HELP!

My husband and I just moved to Michigan with our two young boys and are trying to decide between purchasing a home in Ann Arbor or in the Northville/
Plymouth/Novi area. Can anyone give us some direction on this subject matter?

Any of the above places are very nice. Northville and plymouth both have nice older downtowns and wealthy, good school systems. Novi has good school systems, but is basicly an auto-centered community with a lot of sprawl, and low density development. McMansions abound in the Oakland County communities mentioned.

I would strongly reccomend Ann Arbor, it has a very strong school system, with a rich tax base and a great supply of diverse housing. There are hundreds of entertainment opportunities for the family, and the Town is very beautiful.

Ann Arbor hands down.

Send me a personal message if you have any questions.

Saline would be a great place for you. It is just outside of Ann Arbor, but has a small town feel. Perfect for you're family!

My sister lives in Dexter, just outside of Ann Arbor. She really likes it. It is more family oriented than Ann Arbor. A little less to the left as well, if this matters to you.
