You want a great reseale real estate investment opportunity in Michigan? Good luck on that one.

No one knows what the future will bring. Right now real estate is really cheap but it is really hard to sell anything. Many homes sit on the market for years without selling, even if they are a really good price.

If you have minimum $500,000 now is the time to buy.Plenty of great locations and a gorgeous state. The weather can be a challenge for poor people or the depressed ones and i am one of those since i got cheated by the gang. I also like to play sports, but its quite tough given that the ground will be covered by ice. Also the economy is dead and that affair is stamped and sealed for now. However if you are an investor and can appreciate the beauty of the nature, this is one of the few places.Make no mistake about it,the market right now is way undervalued. It would be helpful if the government was coherent, but they are not.

Wow, everybody who moved into my town in the last couple years must be loaded then... including us . Minimum of $500,000 and the ground covered in ice? Are you out of your mind? Oh never mind, I forgot who wrote the last message, you are just a hater with a bad attitude. I really suggest you get out of state for a while and look around the Country, you just may find a place that really, really works for you. OR you may find that it is tough everywhere right now and Michigan isn't as bad as it looks to you right now. Only one way to see that though; you have to stop sitting in one spot spewing your hatred for a place, and leave it to find a better place.

The tri-cities have a lot of options. Shoot for Midland area a few miles west where it is farmland.

I'd also suggest Marysville Michigan in the thumb region and look a couple miles west. Its only about 50 minutes from downtown detroit, but it is kinda rural, you may be paying more for the property but if you're lucky, you will get a good deal in this market.

Marysville also has great schools, I student taught there and if I can be in that area when I have kids, thats where I'd like them to go.

I have unveiled my personality for over 6000 posts, haven't changed a thing in the couple years I have been on this forum. Don't know where you think you are making some inspirational discovery.

I haven't changed a thing. I can see that with as few posts as you have total, and a good number of those are trying to slam me, you really haven't a thing to add to any discussion. You are stuck down in the SE corner and hating the entire state form your view from a tiny portion of it. Narrow, very narrow.

I've lived all over the state, from the UP down to the biggest cities we have. Plus have the added benefit of being able to look at the State after living out of it for decades. You really do need to get out and broaden your horizons more.
