But do we really want thousands and thousands of people flocking to our state to use all of our water and ruin all of our beauty?
No way...Not worth it.

I want to respond to the original post on this discussion: "Think before you come here; MI is dying."

Well, if you have some useful ideas, a business to start, people you want to hire, DON'T THINK TWICE. YOU ARE WELCOME IN MICHIGAN AND WE WANT TO MEET YOU.

Tomorrow afternoon would be fine.

The people in Michigan are the problem, it is a poor me attitude. Detroit is a great city full of fun and great food. The weather can suck but it really only does in Feb and March. If you cannot work here for whatever reason, leave. People may or may not be computer savy up north, I do not care. All I know is I am, have a job, and enjoy my state for what it is. Really, if a bunch of factory rats rellocate, how is that a bad thing?

Bad........I have a job.........good job........my husband had 4 shoulder surgeries in 1 year........got fired after the 3rd....so not poor suckers....just how the wheel of life grabs ya.....had to sell a ton of things to make it and still just barely.....he is back to work as a cook for there is nothing here. How could one relocate when you can't even afford gas to go to work.
It is just the role of the die on how things turn in a heartbeat.

I am sure that people will dismiss City Data entirely if this sort of misleading information and dishonesty continues.Citi Data must make sure that it doesn`t waste time on useless propaganda.

So you are advocating they remove all of your other posts? Because frankly they are full of BS.

It's dialogue, debate and conjecture pifler. I think most people can make their own decision whether it's a time waster or not. But thanks for your concern.

A lake in Novi? I am puzzled. Where are you?

Novi may not be the best option if you are looking for more down to earth people. However you will run into down to earth people and snotty people everywhere. It really depends on who you meet. You could meet only nice people in R.H. and decide that it is wonderful, or you might meet all snotty people (as you apparently did) and hate it.
