I am originally from the burbs of Detroit. I am currently living in Tennessee. I want to move home.
Prices have skyrocketed since 2012, and the area I planned to move to is out of my budget.
I was living in Royal Oak when I left.
I am trying to find a small town, that is hip and not too expensive.
I've been looking outside of A2, and north and northwest of Oakland County.
Can anyone offer some insight into Holly and Fenton? I don't have kids. In my 50's. Need good healthcare close by, a decent nightlife. Like restaurants, pubs, and cool events. Decent clothing boutiques, and grocery/health food stores.
Low crime. Lower taxes than OC. Good city services and friendly people. A few single men a plus!
If Holly or Fenton don't fit the bill, any suggestions?
Thankyou in advance.
