Just a fun game....Name two MI cities and pick which one you would choose over the other.
Can be for whatever reason, which you would rather live? Which one you had more fun in? Which has more jobs? Cheaper living? More snow? Whatever reason...Pick one then reply with either the cit you picked and another one or two new ones. Try to keep them somewhat similar in size.

First:

Battle Creek or Lansing

First choice: Ann Ahbuh!

Second choice:Traverse City.

Both are cool without needing a public relations campaign about how cool they are.

I like both cities but would go with Lansing for having more cultural attractions and for being more centrally located.

Let's take this up north now with a couple of my favorite MI cities:

Muskegon, MI :https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muskegon,_Michigan

or

Marquette, MI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marquette,_Michigan
