Nice! I love the color of the Cardinal against the gray background and the contrast of the white snow next to it and the dark twigs.

Congratulations on the new E-5 as well. Looks like you are putting it to good use already. How do you like it so far compared to your E-30? The Olympus four-thirds is probably the most underestimated system out there right now. Once somebody shoots with one, they see how nice the cameras and lenses really are.

Each one of those is SOOC and a little underexposed, but I'll tell you what, the E-5 blows the E-30 out of the water for image quality. I read every review about it and when I read things like " image quality on par or better than the D300s and 7D up to 1600 ISO" and another review say " the image quality up to 1600 ISO is probably the best of any SLR currently on the market" I knew I had to get it. I cropped the posted that cardinal shot against a well exposed cardinal shot and I lost the detail on the E-30 while the E-5 retained it. (even at ISO 400) 1600 ISO covers 99.9% of what I shoot and the way this thing is built I had no worries as the snow fell on it for the 2 hours I was out. I'm so glad I stayed with Olympus, this is the camera I have been waiting for.
Now you need to get yourself a new Sony so we can go shooting.

Here's just a quick contribution, to what is my favorite thread on these boards.

These are nothing fancy, just some shots I took this morning with my Droid X. I took these on our property, following the snowfall yesterday and last night.

I'll have towards the end of the week what I hope will be a contribution more on par with others I've seen on this thread. I took my camera to capture some shots of the frozen over Ocqueoc Falls, but I unfortunately am unable to upload the pics. I loaned my USB cable to my son to charge a PS3 controller, and I forgot to get it back from him before heading up here.

That was one of our first projects after getting the place. We assigned our 16 year old son to the task.
