Here are a few from my area. These were taken in Ludington State Park.
Sunset over Lake Michigan from M-116.
The Ruffians headed over to the visitors center.
Hamlin Lake. Nice place to grow up and learn to row a boat, catch a fish, relax and enjoy life.
A sand dune that is fun to run down. Not so fun to climb back up.
Michigan version of "Stairway to Heaven?"
Yep, we have sand beaches also.
Plus some killer sunsets to put a close to a nice day.

Great pics Bydand! I grew up camping at Ludington. Do they still have the trails that meander through the small islands on Hamlin Lake? I also remember we kids fishing with dad on the river that runs from the lake out to Lake Michigan. Great memories.

Yes the "Island trail" is still there. They have improved it over the years so there is no more walking through the marshy areas. There are boardwalks over the soft areas and bridges over the water, some of which are high enough to get a boat through. I took my 18' bigger water boat (42" tall at the bow) through yesterday in fact.

God I haven't been up to Mackinaw in years. I would really like to make it up there again soon. Is the water still freezing?
