Here it is:

Yes, a classmate of mine in my grad program was/is a lifeguard at Spencer Park. He saved some kid from drowning and was in the paper and stuff.

When you say "Interlochen" do you mean up around Traverse City?

I'm not from Michigan and personally I love it here. I think it's spectacularly beautiful.

This is a pic I took a few weeks ago in my front yard at sunset...

Nice pic All I ever have to be!

Here's one: bicycle parking at a premium during the Traverse City Film Festival.

Another downtown Traverse City (busier than most malls that weekend, and no punky gangsta wannabees either):

Love the "shingle" signs on the storefronts:

If you're in downtown Traverse City in the summer, Pangea's makes a great Mojito.

Tahquamenon Falls taken last weekend, we were there in March and there was very little water flowing even after the melt. Happy to report that they are in full flood now and Lake Superior is up by 15inches too.

2nd photo was taken along the shoreline from Whitefish Point.

The first reminds me of the "Backwaters" along the Manistee River. The 2nd looks better than the Pacific Ocean along California.
