Yes, thats Fisherman ISP, taken last year. All pics are 10-15 min from my home, with the exception of the last one, thats somewhere over the area I live. Charlevoix is a jewel of a place, absolutely wonderful place to live.....even though we do get flooded with fudgies in the summer

Hey all.....all of those pics are beautiful. For some reason I really like the fall color trees near Leelanau, and jeeg's foggy lake pic.....This is why I love Meechigan! Though I live in A2, there are some pretty views of the Huron River here, but nothing like the beauty of da UP and northern LP.

It is sad that most people who have never been to Michigan, automatically think of Detroit, or heavy industry when the state is mentioned. There is SO much more to enjoy, no wonder every minute I lived away from the state I was dreaming of the day I could replant myself along the west coast, never to be uprooted and move away again.

I know that, one of my favorite places to fish is right off Dow Chemical in Ludington, but to most people industry means nasty smoke billowing plants.
