A variety of winter scenes from around Northern Michigan. Enjoy!
(Hope nobody minds the wildlife pics but they are part of what's spectacular about Michigan, too!)

I love that picture from Keweenaw of the post with snow heights. Wow 390.4" in 78-79. That's crazy.
Great Pictures everyone.

Wulf 67's pictures of Charlevoix are making me homesick! Suprising to see people there in the winter scene...did you pay them like movie extras?

Yes, beautiful pics everyone! My family is really missing snow this time of year. Maybe one day we'll be back in Michigan for good. Until then, if you have pics, please keep them coming! We really appreciate it.

Pictures of northern lights?
Does anyone have photos of the northern lights visible from the shore of Lake Michigan? When I was in high school, I used to go to band camp at Interlochen. At the end of the week, we took a trip to Benzonia (I think) and spent the day. As the stars came out, we built small fires and watched the northern lights. I haven't been able to explain northern lights to my Texan husband. It's something everyone should see and he hasn't. Can you help?
