Raining today, but I still had to get out and take a few photos. Here are the latest.
This one is very similar to one I took a couple of months ago when there was still a little snow on the ground.
A "sap-cicle" hanging off a broken pine limb.

I don't believe so. There were 6 in the small bunch I snuck up on, and while I thought this one was injured. When I looked closer as a couple of others in this bunch, I noticed several carried that same markings. I think it is discoloration only. This one sure moved around fine and had zero indications that it was hurt in any way when it strolled off the other direction. |
