Bluefly--it sounds like it is kind of fun to wear all those different hats! Interesting for sure!

I almost cried when I saw those yellow trees against the deep gray sky. I've lived away from MI for 40 some-odd years, always against my will. I miss it so much. I'm in Texas now, outside Fort Worth. There's almost nothing worse than a Texas summer. It's already hot here, in the nineties every day. I love the people here, but hate the summer. That's the reverse of what people say about Michigan winters. What's the difference between being inside all winter and being inside all summer?

Please keep those pictures coming. I grew up in Mason, and miss the view up the street from our house in the fall. And the winter. And the spring. My Texan husband isn't too keen on cold weather, so we stay in chili-pepper hot Texas.

Great photos! Brought back some wonderful memories of the years I lived in WV and visited family in Saginaw. Moved back home to Brisbane, Australia a couple of years ago, but always keep an eye on what is going on over there.

KImba;

We want to go camping this summer at silver lake. We went a few years ago and had a great time. We did not like the campground that we stayed at all that much. It was a private camp ground and had a nice pool, but it was basically a field with very few trees. It was a few miles from the dunes and lake and amorous donkeys kept us up all night. Can you recommend a better campground in the area? Possibly with trees and maybe closer to the water (and no donkey farms)
