Albino Snow Moose
You probably won't see this again in your life time!
These animals were photographed just north of the Wisconsin border on a highway near Marenisco , MI ...
Once in awhile there is an opportunity to take in a piece of nature that you may never see. In these days of unrest and turmoil it is great to see that GOD still produces some wondrous beauty.

The odds of seeing an "albino moose" are astronomical and to see this in the upper peninsula of Michigan , near Wisconsin , is even greater than astronomical. To see two of them together is nearly impossible.
We wanted to share these photos with as many people as possible because you will probably never have a chance to see this rare sight again.
This is a really special treat, so enjoy the shots of a lifetime.

Yep they are very hard to find. Used to live in Maine and have seen a few Albino Moose, but never two together. To put it into perspective, I spent almost 20 year in Northern Maine and saw Moose almost every single day, sometimes a dozen or more a day. Out of the thousands and thousands of Moose spotted, I can count on one hand the number of Albino Moose I have seen and have a couple fingers left over (3 albino Moose total for the math (or finger) challenged).
Thanks for sharing!

Wow very nice.... though I don't understand on why these species are so rare to see. Are they endangered, close to extinct, found at zoos, question on why they are so rare.

Any Albino creature is rare even if it is a Rabbit, Deer, Horse or Cow. I saw a Abino love Rhino once at a party at MSU. It was actually a very pale white guy who claims to have women flocking for him. Hmmm.

Moose are plentiful in several States, albino Moose are not a separate species but rather a genetic trait. In order to have an albino animal you need both parents of that animal to pass on the recessive gene that causes albinism, if one of them has the gene for normal coloration then the animal will be normal colored. They are not endangered because they can happen at any time, they are rare though.

I don't think there ever was a large abundance of them anywhere, so it's not a matter of depletion. they'er just a specialty of natures breed.
I prefer it this way,
