Here are a few pictures from our 4 day trip to Platte River Campground.

Tube/canoe rentals across the road from us. We floated on tubes down the beautiful Platte river from here...to Lake Michigan.

My soft side shows through on a trail.

Again with my softer side.

Met this girl on a trail...she stayed put the whole time.

View of Glen Lake from Dune Climb.

View atop Empire Bluff Trail

Again a view from Empire Bluff trail.

View North from Dune Climb. Little bit of beautiful Glen Lake to the right.

Betsie Point Lighthouse...looking south.

More to come!

Self explainatory

Old Coast Guard rescue boat.

A beach in Empire. The nicest place I have been to in a long time. The water was amazing.

Very nice shots 3M. Looks like we were in a lot of the same places.

Ukukuk, that looks so peaceful. Only way that scene could be better is if there were fish rising and I was there fishing off the dock .

Yeah, this was before sunrise, I only stopped by, but there was no-one else there! The lake was STILL. I've been running a triangle between Holland, Detroit, and Lexington :P I can't wait to be through with Kentucky though. My "friends" here began acting like 12 year olds upon my return. I WISH I had a good camera to capture the scene. Maybe something with a wider shot would do, as it was sheer stunning in every direction.
