Thanks for all of the suggestions. We are fortunate to be able to rent a great house in Galesburg for a fantastic price. My husband already has a job and that is the reason we are relocating to Michigan. He is in a very stable position with his work. I always have the option to work temporary for an agency if need be until I find more permanent work. We are really excited to me moving and aren't worried about what we have been reading on this posts. Everyone that he has had contact with out there so far has been very positive. We are confident about our decision and our children are too.

Whatever you do, don't move to Michigan. It is cold and icy here for several months during the year. If you are disabled, then you are putting yourself at risk on the icy pavement. You spend too much of your time indoors in the winters, which last quite a long time. Stay in Arizona if you can.
