I will go there and visit the city the first week of April. Will it be cold?

Well I don't live there, but I do live in MI and usually April is cold and somewhat snowy. If you were expecting sunshine and warm weather, sorry, not in April. It doesn't get warm here until like June

It'll normally hover around the freezing mark in April. You may get a freak-day when it's 70 degrees one day in April which does happen from time to time. Michigan in April is cold-do not expect warm weather for it's the execption.
