Is that the sail boat race? How long does it last? Last year when we were just visiting we stopped in Sarnia, Ontario and someone told us we had missed it by a day. But I don't remember when we were there.

Usually take three days. There is also a Chicago to Mackinaw race- everybody wants to visit Michigan! LOL

the port huron to mackinac race is over-nice article about it in teh free press

and chicago to mackinac race takes place this coming weekend!
can be a lot of fun if you are up north or on the island as many of the sailors hang out after the race!
bob segar had a boat in the race once!

Thanks for the heads up. Do they sail into Port Huron? Where is the best place to watch it? And when is the best time to go? Thank you for the info!

HEY, my local newspaper Cheboygan Tribune (i read it online everyday!) has an article about the chicago to mackinac race and a link where you can actually watch the progress of the boats

iBoat Track - Race Tracking


i guess the race track button will be activated just before the race starts!
