Any Jobs in Cadillac, Mi.?
Hi, living here in Jackson, Mi. is a rough time. Jobs are so scarce. We just got back from Cadillac and are wondering if a move to Cadillac may be a better option.
We have thought of moving to Arizona to get away from the Winters here. May miss our beautiful state in the Summer.
Any one out there with any kind of answers.
I'll surely listen.

What field are you in?
Overall I would look more in Grand Rapids, Holland, or Kalamazoo for opportunities here in MI.

I agree that I would be looking to the Grand Rapids area first. Cadillac is nice, but there is much more to do in the GR area, and you can find some nice homes in smaller communities very close. That way you get the best of both worlds, close to the action, but on your timetable. Want quiet, stay home; want entertainment, drive into GR.

I've heard there isn't much, maybe try Traverse City or Grand Rapids. If you have to move, you can always vacation in Michigan.

I agree; I live just a few miles from Cadillac, and I check the local paper regularly to check on jobs for a friend. Not much here right now, I'm afraid. Check out the local paper yourself- cadillacnews.com. Good luck!

Thanks for the information.
I already check that site out,The Cadillac News.
Just thought maybe there would be some out there in "city forum land" that had a personal connection to a business with work
I know we are moving from Jackson just don't know where yet.

You can Check out "4 Winns" boat factory. Other than that I tend to agree with the other posters.

Depending on your field, I would be taking a trip out west (or where ever) you plan on going and prospect. Have you applied on most of the main online sites? See if you can get a interview set up. This may take some time, but at lest you'll have something in line before picking up and leaving. I personally wouldn't waist much time with looking in Michigan, yes..GR is a nice city but it also has its share of people looking for work. Do some research, send some resumes out online take a trip.

I have experience in the veterinary Assistance field.
For the people that live in Cadillac. How many Vets are there?
Any near the city limits?
My husband has factory experience. Maybe the Boat factory is a good idea if they do much hiring.
Thanks for your help.
