Sounds good......too bad most of the graduates at WMU and other institutions are unable to find employment and end up leaving. Although while through my research I could not find data to support the articles claim of "the influx of people", while census.gov and city-data.com numbers show recent growth at -6.5%. It is a good deal for a more wealthy family to bring their kids into the area to reap the benefits of free education, however shrinking population only spreads the tax burden even thinner.....

City of Kalamazoo - Economic Development

Kalamazoo really needs to be progressive about reclaiming brownfields in the city for future development; to help halt sprawl.
