What do you think of Granholm/the Legislature these days?
Hey guys!
I've heard on the radio that Granholm's job approval is down, and wondered what your opinion is of her right now. Do you give her thumbs up or thumbs down? Why or why not? This question can include the legislature's job approval too.
Thanks!

She needs to go home to Canada! I thought right after she took office she might do something for the state. I was right, but too bad it was mostly negative change she ushered in. I know a lot of it started with her predecessor, but you can only make that claim for a couple of years, after that it is your mess you are stepping in.
I think Michigan will weather this just like the last few downturns in the economy. This time though it will be through diversification of the industries in the state and not the automotive sector that pulls us out. Might take a few years before we find our feet again, but Michigan will come out ahead. It is the people of the state that make it a great state, not the incompetent boobs we put in Lansing.

She is just another one that talks the talk and does nothing except raise taxes and drives more business out of the state. Some of them across the border to Indiana in the southwest part of the state from what I heard on the news. When she said in five years you'll be blown away! Well I think it's been almost six and we still are waiting Jenny I know everything is not all her fault but don't say you can fix this and that if you don't do it! Lies, lies, and nothing but lies a true politician
I remember seeing her on tv about bringing a factory to MI. making a big deal out of it, which is all good but 180 people or 200 I'm not sure but seems like hardly a drop in the bucket. Does anyone know how many jobs she has brought here? She was doing all that globetrotting for more jobs but from what I've seen you can still see a dry bottom in the bucket

It's not about one factory opening up, it's about the hundreds that have closed. The statistics are right there for anyone but the most blind, computer illliterate boob to find: Michigan's lost tons of jobs. It doesn't make any difference if one factory opens up here, or if Google opens up a tech office after being bribed to do so. The overall pattern of employment is dismal. There's no growth, and the state is losing population. What more needs to be said? She's run an already struggling state absolutely into the ground.
But everyone already knew Granholm was a psychotic Canadian born, Berkeley trained socialist ***** even before she was elected. There was no confusion about that. Don't play deaf and dumb with me, unless you've been certified retarded by an IQ test. What did you think was going to happen once she was elected? She delivered everything I expected her to.
If you voted for her, quite frankly I hope something horrible happens to you because you've caused a lot of pain and suffering to many people with your incompetence.

I...I try not to think about them. You'd think the least she could do would be to get rid of King Kwame, but she can't even do that.

What do I think of Granholm? Well let's see.... my 12 year old retail business failed a year ago, my husband lost his job about 2 years ago, we lost our home, had to move out of state to find a job (left in Jan this year), filed bankruptcy..........
What do you think is my opinion of her is? (along with our reps, senators, and the auto companies)

I've only been here for a year, so I am still learning things.
However, I think she is a giant idiot for not removing Kwame from office. What good has come out of leaving him as Mayor of Detroit? Detroit's reputation is now WORSE (and I don't think anyone thought it could GET worse), this has made the entire state look bad, and he's an embarrassment to the city, as well as the state. I honestly think that Kwame has something he's holding over Granholm's head, which is why she hasn't removed him. If not, well...then she's a bigger idiot than I could have imagined.

I personally hate her more than pretty much any politician BUT she did schedule Sept. 3 for the beginning of the forfeiture hearings on removing Kilpatrick from office.
