Default vintage appliance repair

I have a GM Frigidaire electric range that needs rewiring and am having a devil of a time finding someone who will do it. I'd also love to find a manual for it, but that may be shooting for the moon I think it's from the 1950's, and it's in wonderful shape other than the wiring.

Can anyone point me towards a local (I'm in Ferndale) repair shop that works on vintage appliances? I've called around and the only person who's even willing to look at it wants me to bring the stove to him and he can't promise anything.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

There is an old appliance restoration place in Tekonsha. (I am guessing at the spelling, but it is close). I know that they do old stoves, not sure what else. Really expensive though. They wanted $15,000 to restore my old stove.
