Wink Eau Claire Lakes..

Hi everyone,
Hopefully someone can help with some info.. I would greatly appreciate it!
Are the lakes around Eau Claire sandy or swampy? I was thinking of renting a place for the summer in the area. One near Sister Lakes & one near Pipestove. I love to swim, but not in a weedy murky lake..& rental agents always tend to say it's crystal clear whether it is or not. Thanks!
