Your loss buddy. I live in Royal Oak and there is TONS to love in this part of the Metro. We love it here, and we are from another part of the country, so have plenty to contrast and compair with it.

What do I love about Michigan?
- Hockey
- Mackinaw Island Fudge
- my family that all live there
- the best pizza places across the country originate from Michigan (Little Caesar's, Dominoes, Hungry Howie's)
- Faygo root beer
- Saunders Bumpy Cake!!! It's to die for and only in Michigan
- the strong work ethic of Michiganders

My God, all three of those places are AWEFUL.....My picks would be more along the lines of Deluca's, Buddy's....the original one on Conant....and maybe Pisano's. Or Santia's...but I think they sold.....Or even Pizzapapalis....But Little Caesar's???.....yuck......

I love Little Caesar's!!! Although it's not my favorite... my absolute favorite pizza hands down is the Vegetarian with Japanese Eggplant (ordered without cheese) from the California Pizza Kitchen. It's awesome, and without the cheese you can really taste all the great veggies like eggplant, corn, sundried tomatoes. It's awesome!
But I do like Caesar's and Hungry Howies.

Isn't it against your principles to eat JAPANESE eggplant?

I am in the process of buying property and business in near Flint, after I read all the negatives about MI, I was discouraged, I am glad to read what all of you wrote, please advice me if I am doing the right thing, I hope I will not regret it, not economically, the business is great, the money is good, but the rest that worries me.
thank you

Great things about MI...
We are thinking about leaving MI, but these are some of the things that I will miss...
1. Family and friends
2. Libraries
3. Beaches and FRESH water lakes
4. Campfires
5. Smell of the rain
6. The trees and wooded areas
7. Being able to show people where I live using my hand as a map
8. Fresh veggies & fruits
9. Mackinaw Island
10. West Michigan
Kudos to those who can stick it out here - to those of us who have to leave, here is to a better future and new traditions.

Funny how you could write something like this, but when I respond it's not allowed. Makes no sense. If my post was deleted in response to what you wrote and brought up then you would think yours would be deleted as well. Humph!
