Richland, Michigan Move
Currently live in Glendale, Arizona about a mile east of the
Arizona Cardinals stadium. Will be moving to Richland, Mi.
in late May-early June of next year.
Looking to transfer to the Plainwell or Portage post offices.
Any Mail Carriers want to move to sunny Arizona? It will be
a big weather change for us. Been in Arizona over 24 years.
Looking forward to the fresh air and less traffic in that part of
Michigan. Can't decide whether to root for Michigan State
Spartans or Michigan Wolverines? Any suggestions?.....I love
college football! I grew up in south Georgia so I've been a
big Georgia Bulldog fan since the 70's. Just saw Georgia beat
Arizona State last night in Tempe. I'd really appreciate some
feedback. This looks like a great forum to me. Thanks Jimbo

The Spartans will be more popular in Richland I'm guessing.
If you want to root for a winner it's a tough call right now.
The Stereotypes say:
The Wolverines have more tradition, better academics, better reputation and appear to be absolutely terrible right now.
The Spartans are famous chokers who have given away games like it's going out of style. The academics aren't as good on national ranking scales. The school is larger than UofM, more fun, with friendlier people.
Personally, I root for Sparty. My parents and sister went to school there and I went to neither MSU or UofM, so I formed my allegiance by sticking with my family. It's also cheaper and easier to get tickets for Spartan games.

Congratulation on choosing to live in Richland, Michigan. Richland has long been recognized as a great place to live. It's convenient to larger towns, but without the problems found in big cities. Richland has friendly people, great schools, convenient shopping for the necessities of life, plenty of year round outdoor recreation including beautiful Gull Lake, many Churches, nice friendly Library, some good restaurants, and many choices of homes for different lifestyles. Prices and choices of homes abound. Moderator cut: advertisingLots to choose from for most pocketbooks from new subdivisions close to town, to gentrified farms. Plainwell isn't a bad commute, and you can skirt Kalamazoo to get to the Portage Mail facility. Hope you get your transfer arranged so you can enjoy all that Richland has to offer. You're on your own as to who to root for, I believe in freedom of choice.
