Yep, and I am still so glad to get out of the Northeast and fuel oil heat. Natural Gas is still WAY cheaper. Still going to hurt with an increase, but better than averaging $1250 a month during the winter like there.

Default Get them Ready!

MY Rant,
This type of news is what Really makes me sick as an American. It's like... get em prepared. All the Feaking terror tactics, well, they are getting old now. I'm so tired of these Remember all 2006? will be the worst Hurricane season ever?? All the experts were predicting how bad we will all Be,? Did'nt happan, but Gas still went up. It's like the world has been ending for the last 8 years!, Keep scareing the crap out of everyone... and they will happily accept higher prices.
I want to point out, I know how the free markets work, and I'm tired of this crap! The MEDIA needs to stop freaking out the world, and turning us into Sheeple, that crave doom and gloom, that gladly pays more ... because the news said so! Here's an Idea, report something positive! Sometimes I put on the BBC, or the Canadian news, just for fun different world perspectives. Surely there has to be more to life... Than we are all, screwed!

Natural Gas (NG, NYMEX): Weekly Price Chart

Wholesale prices appear to be the same as this time last year.

I don't understand why just because the gas company stocked up at a higher price they should pass it on to us. That's what risk you're suppose to take in biz. They should only be allowed to charge current rates. If they don't like it we can nationalize them like we are to all the banks.

T. Boones argument on CNG is flying out the window fast. I wonder if he gets his $20,000,000 investment back that he spent on all those annoying commercials.

If were lucky global warming will give us a toasty winter. Thanks Al

Introducing the Global Malthusian Crisis. As the world's population has exploded over time and as our own population has continued to explode and as poor nations develop the amount of natural energy resources per capita decreases, increasing the costs.

There isn't much we can do about the world's population growth other than to promote birth control and abortion, but we can control our growth here at home by imposing a moratorium on immigration and by deporting illegal aliens. Is it a touchy-feely notion? Is it politically correct? No, but it's reality.
