I may be transferring to a job located in Farmington Hills. We were looking at housing in the Commerce Township area. Does anyone have any opinions on living in that area? Also, what are the high schools like ( I believe they are Huron Valley or Walled Lake Schools??).

We looked into Walled lake in 2005. At that time, their schools were decent, but not great. We did nto look at Huron Valley so I have no idea. There is a ton of school information available on the internet, it takes hours and hours and some of them charge for the information. However do no rely on the statistics. Go there and talk to teachers, students, and potential employers or college admissions persons. Do not take the opinion of only one or two people. You need to get a lot of opinions becuase some people are jaded or see things through rose colored glasses.
