Some areas near us upgraded (or downgraded) from "Winter Storm Warning" to "Blizzard Warning" throughout tonight. We've got probably 15 inches on the ground now, and blowing snow.

While I am glad to have snow. I could do without the wind. -15 windchill is not for me. If there were no wind, it would be a beautiful day.

Im thinking the only difference between a Storm Warning and Blizzard is the amount of wind involved.... I could be wrong though

To be a blizzard there has to be winds gusting to over 35 MPH for a 3 hour period I believe.

Ah I hate this!! I can't wait to move south/west! Im not use to getting up at 2am now, I need my sleep at 21, lol. A few drives I've had to plow twice as the drifts from the wind close the drives shut!

lol, funny you say that as less then a month ago I helped my sister move out of there and was amazed at all the snow just in the drives and it hadn't snowed in a few days. Her little VW bug was not liking it. I probably would, but I hate plowing apartments. I'm always covering cars or someones yelling at me cause I pushed snow here or there. I can bring a shovel and we can have some fun in this wonderful warm weather!
