Default Douglas/Saugatuck/Port Sheldon

Does anyone know of any cheap places to rent in the Douglas/Saugatuck/Port Sheldon areas? I work in Holland and commute in from the Grand Haven area. I want a cheap place that is closer, close enough to be within 3 miles of the lake, but not in Holland. I am guessing I'll just have to stick with the Holland Sentinel classifieds.

Default nothing cheap in Saugatuck/Douglas

You are not going to find lower rent in Saugatuck or Dougalas than Holland. Why would you want to move south of Holland if you work north of Holland? If you think Holland is a bad place to live - it is not and you can find nice areas. IF you are concerned about Holland look in Zeeland.

It is not really anything to do with cost. I work inside of the city of Holland, but currently commute from just north of Grand Haven - in Spring Lake Township. I don't want to live in Holland, I'd rather live in a very small town. It is not that I think Holland is a bad place to live, it isn't the place for me to live. I like huge open areas. Zeeland is out of the question, since it isn't close to the lake. I can continue my commute, but I'd rather live a bit closer if possible - most like Douglas, Saugatuck, or Port Sheldon.
