Default Jackson HS

I've never seen it, but a lot of people in Flint are using it as a shining example of what can be done to modernize a building with classic architecture.

Recently it was announced that Flint Central will be closed, and a lot of my fellow alumni are concerned about what its fate will be. One contingent wants to tear it down and build an entirely new and modern building. The rest of us want to see it be renovated on the inside, but letting the external architecture remain.

Jackson HS is gorgeous. Jackson also retains its original Carnegie Library, newspaper building, train depot, etc. It's one of the most well-preserved older cities. It should be on every historic preservationist's list of must-visit towns.
