Sturgis is a nice City. It has a really nice Downtown area with well maintained historic buildings and really cool streetlamps. The shopping district has a Wal-Mart, KMart, Kroger and pretty much all the fast food places. What is does lack are good restaurants. Very few. The Hospital is also shaky. Some will tell you it's good, others avoid it at all costs. I'm certain it has it's more rundown areas, but for the most part is a very nice City. I have a friend who has lived there all her life (over 50 years) and is happy there and has never had a problem with any sort of crime.

Softballfan is on a distinguished road
Its a fine city. Good schools, and safe. All the basic shopping stuff is there. I will say on a negative, the street are very narrow for some reason.
