Bryan29 is on a distinguished road
Question white lake

Looking at a house off of Pontiac Lake Road, just south of Lake Pontiac and the state park, between Teggerdine and Fisk Road. (Cranberry Meadows is the subdivision) I am new to Michigan, been here about 7 months, and don't know anything about the area. Any input you have on white lake, oxbow, and that area would be appreciated.

That's a very decent area. I used to work in Pontiac and live in Waterford; the area you're describing is a pleasant distance from the more cratered area of Pontiac but still close to all the shopping and the utter glamour of TELEGRAPH and WOODWARD, which lead to basically everything else you might want in the downtown area. I'd recommend it.

Like Cliffie said, it's a decent area. By all means not the best in Metro Detroit, but it has improved over the years.

The main reason why I don't have an attachment to the area is because everything is so far apart, and to get to shopping, etc. or anywhere in the inner suburbs or city it takes a lot longer.
