Default info on starting a company

Top o' the morning folks,
I am looking to get some info on starting a company in SW Michigan,Kazoo to be exact. It is going to be a manufacture based, but what is being manufactured is on the *hush* right now as the prototype is being tested on a few job sites in Las Vegas. This venture is for an invention my oldest brother came up with,by dumb luck,of all things, will exceed OSHA standards, and will be very affordable for companies to purchase.
The thing is does anybody here have any info on what would be a good area, what tax credits are availble to each area,i.e. midlink park vs. downtown kazoo vs. portage and so on.All input would be greatly appreciated in this endeavor.
And no..the east side of michigan will not be an option, nor any other state. No offense to anyone, but we like this area. Thanks and have a great day.

If you mean tax abatements you would go to the city council. They will want to know the whole plan, in writing. Past that ALL business expense are deductions. You need a good tax person to set things up. In fact, with myself VERY few things I buy or do is not a write off. Even my dogs.
