No, I don't think we know half of what goes on. If we did and if we also knew how little is being done about it , I'm sure a lot of people would be really pi$$ed.

The kids on the other hand dissappoint me how all them let him bet her up like that? If it were me I would have whipped his *** I know of two bi-polar people they have alot of outrage but have not physically abused someone like that. I saw that on the news and was just shocked, if he's bi-polar then the parent should be held responsible for either not having him on medicines or not making him take it. And no not blaming on the parent, that could have not been me he would've got it going out that door. (I wouldn't want to endanger the other kids)

Hello, I was a school bus driver for 18 years. The driver made a mistake in not pulling the bus over as soon as the student walked up the isle. She should have then pulled the parking brake and gotten up to face the student. I have had a teenager try to face me down by using threatening behavior. I told him he better knock me out with the first punch because he would not get a second chance. By standing up to him and letting him know I meant business and would not tolerate his bad behavior he backed down. I never was hit by a student because I learned early on by treating them with respect it was returned 999% out of 1,000. Also, I believe I read that the driver was a substitute. And because of this she did not know the students which makes a huge difference.

Tip of the iceberg, man. You think this crap is bad, just wait, something will come along even worse.I have seen these kids acting up and getting worse over the last 20 years or so,what a hoot.We have doped our kids up,stuck them in front of television, told them to mind other's feelings, and when one acts up,it's a f@#king travisty, give me a break.Over the years we have deprived our children the one essential thing needed, competitive aggression. This is in our nature,in our blood, and the more it is suppressed, the worse it's going to get.
We have gotten to a point were,we think football is a competitve aggresive sport,it's not, and, sorry driller1,neither is NASCAR.Sports like cage fighting are fast becoming the norm for these kids, they are looking for something to fill that void that was given to them when things like dodgeball was deemed to dangerous for elementary school kids to play. These things that kids are doing are a direct result of trying to quash what is in our nature.

Actually, I do see some truth in your opinion. Back when I was a kid, the boys played contact sport, wrestling, football etc. They got a chance to channedl theri "agression and anger" into something a little more controlled, productive but at the same time, they let off steam. Sometimes the kid you were having issues with may get a harder tackle or whatever, but with protective gear, conditioned atheletes and adults supervision, people rarely got seriously hurt. and a lot of times "fights" got settled on the field. At the end of the day, people went home feeling better, more relaxed getting that out of their system.
Now kids get their agression out on violent (bloody vicious) video games and cartoons. But they don't get that physical aspect of letting of steam. So when they do pop a cork, they go overboard with things they have seen or played on tv/video games.
It is too bad parents are too busy to get their kids in more extracurricular activity in school or that the schools can't afford to offer those activities.
Our society needs to rethink what its priorities.
