Default Moving to Iowa, need info on renting to section 8

Hello everyone, my husband and I are moving to Iowa for his job. However we own a home in flint (east) and we dont know what to do. Is renting to section 8 a good idea? If so, how do we go about doing it so that it will cover our mortgage/ ins.? We have totally redone the kitchen and bathroom and really want to sell it for what we owe, but with the market i dont feel we will be able to get it. Does anyone have any good ideas on what we should do? Renting, selling, all this is so stressfull.

Same situation here (but going to West Coast). Only thing that is holding me back is the house. Did you find anything out that you can advise on? House is in Wixom, MI.
