Has it been a rough year for getting sick?
Man one person or another has been sick in my house for over a month now. My youngest brings something home, I get it then my oldest gets it and my wife seems the last to get it. As soon as one is better another brings something else home. I had to pick my oldest son up from school yesterday and he was sick alllll night. God only knows what he has now. Between my kids they have missed more than an entire week of school in the last month. I've been spraying lysol everywhere, I want don't want this one spreading around again.
So has anyone else noticed this in their home? I know or think a lot of it comes from the public germ hole called school.

This year has been bad all over. I have Family on the East Coast and they say it has been just as bad there as here. Lots of crud being passed around all winter.

Yes! February was downright hellish around our house, with different strains of the flu and strep throat being passed around and around.

Make sure you open a window once a week to get fresh air inside and to help kill of the germs. I do this all Winter. This year has been better for my family than last.

I read that this has been the lightest flu season on record. Only after that did a wave of viruses come through, and it was a rough one when I caught it, but I survived.

I agree. I have noticed this winter has been particularly bad for us (we are located in Vermont). No flu (and we don't get the flu shot), but several stomach bugs and endless colds and now we are all sick with chest colds...ugh. I can't wait for the weather to warm up, the warm/cold off/on of "spring" here doesn't help. I assume weather follows a similar pattern there before finally deciding summer is upon us. It's almost here...counting down the days...

Hasn't been bad the past couple years at my house. Eat your veggies and make sure you still do outdoor activities for fresh air even when its cold.
Keeping the house sealed and existing solely in an artificial environment is most of the problem IMO

Oh I don't blame the school so much as the dirty little brats that are at school.

No sickness here. Healthy and happy all winter long! (Got the flu shot back in November too)
