I think they still do a special weekend at the hotel, and I think one of their suites is named for the movie too.

Must have been fun to work on the island!

I thought 8 mile was a great movie.

Maybe a bunch of us should do our own movie (as suggested) maybe a combination of
Escabana in the Moonlight and Zack and Miri make a Porno?

I liked how "Out of Sight" finally showed both sides of metro Detroit - the really gritty (which always gets shown) and the really wealthy (which never gets shown).

We do the extremes of third world-style divisions between wealth and poverty better than anybody! Whoo hoo!

Although not made Michigan Zack and Miri was one of the funniest damn movies I have seen in LONG time.
