You should fit easily in South East Michigan. Not just Dearborn either. I work with many doctors who are Middle East, they live in Troy, Rochester Hills, Bloomfield, Novi... all the subs.

It would probably be advisable if you are religious, to find a place of worship in the Dearborn area initially, then you can meet people with common interest/culture. Once you have established a social circle, you can really live in whatever area suits you.

Same old advice... go to church to meet new friends of common interest.

Arab Americans constitute the third largest ethnic population in Michigan. (In many cases, they are 3rd, 4th and 5th generation, and have little in common with newer citizens from the middle east).
