Default Good homeowners insurance in Ann Arbor?

I'm from out of state and buying a house in Ann Arbor? Does anyone have a good homeowners' insurance company? I don't necessarily want the cheapest one, just a company or agency you think is reasonable and does a good job or has a good reputation..

I live 15 minutes away and after a long, exhaustive search, State Farm has turned out to be reliable AND reasonable.

I personally like AAA insurance.

We had ice dam this past winter... we described the problem to AAA and they told us to get an estimate.. we got one and with in a month, they cut us a check for that amount less the $50 copay.

We use AAA for all our insurance... they pay, no questions asked!

even when DH mistakenly left the keys in our car and yes it got stolen and totalled... they paid. Once again, no questions asked.

They are THE BEST!
