Lansing area church suggesstions?
We moved here from the 'Bible Belt,' Greenville, South Carolina over a year ago and cannot find a comparable church in the Lansing area that feels like "home." We used to attend the massive Redemption World Outreach Center (rwoc.org) in Greenville.
My husband and I are looking for a more liberal, contemporary church to attend on a weekly basis. We are used to boisterous, spirit-filled worship, and an inspiring and down-to-earth message from the pastor. Any help, websites, info, would be appreciated, we are just looking for a fun place to worship, where we can learn and grow.

There's one over on Creyts Rd that might be to your liking. I can't remember the name, but it's on Creyts Road between St. Joe and Michigan Ave. Big mega-church.

You might want to check out South Church. I've never been there, but it's very big and new. Used to drive by it on my way to work. Here is the website:
South Church: Passion for Christ... Compassion for Others
Another possibility is Mount Hope Church. Again, I've never been there, but I used to hear ads for it on the radio quite a bit. I think this is the same one that Magellan was talking about :

Hopefully one of these will be what you are looking for!
