Do you know how many people the common flu kills EVERY year? 10 years ago it was the bird flu was going to kill the world. Before that there was the flesh eating bacteria that had no cure. I watched a news report about a woman from Howell who just came home from Texas and felt ill. So off to the hospital she goes with the media in tow. "COULD THIS BE THE FIRST CASE OF THE SWINE FLU IN MICHIGAN?" Watch the 11 O'clock news for our update. My god do we really need this? Wait until you know, otherwise shut the FU%# UP!

I asked my wife yesterday. If every strain of Flu originates from ( PIGS) and this is such a global threat.....why not GET RID OF THE PIGS?!!!! I sign on today and Egypt ordered the slaughtering of EVERY PIG in Egypt and there has not been 1 reported case of swine flu in the entire country. Personally I can live without ham or bacon, and I'm sorry next to Rat's and Possums I think the pig is the dirtiest damn animal in world. Any animal that baths in it mud from it's own **** and crap can't be very useful for anything.

Elephants do that. So do rhinos. Pigs in fact are clean, it is some owners that are dirty.

Well last time I checked nobody in my area are raising elephants or Rhino's. I've driven behind pig haulers up 75. You can smell them 10 miles before you pass em. You can say they are clean, I won't ever agree.

Not saying that people shouldn't take precautions, but people should always take some precautions and not spread diseases (like washing your hands if you come into contact with a lot of people in the day).

I remember SARS. The sneetches with SARS on thars were all in China. I think 2 people died. And (literally) a million chickens and ducks.
