Default Gas prices creeping up...must be a holiday coming

Well now that the price per barrel has bottomed out these bas%#rds are up to their old tricks again. Anyone else remember in years past that 2 weeks before any BIG DRIVING holiday the gas prices seemed to creep up? Here they go again. 10-15 cents a week until after Memorial Day. Beats the heck out of $3-$4 but these games get old. Must be a leak in a pipe line.

There's switching over to summer blends. The price always goes up as they take the refineries offline for the conversion. Supply and demand.

The switch over also coincides with memorial day and labor day so it's a double whammy.

When I lived up north, I always bought gas on Wednesdays. It always, without a doubt, would go up anywhere 5-10 cents by the weekend to gouge the flatlanders.

We are, but if he means up North as in Northern Lower, you have to call the tourists something, so it is either Fudgie, or Flatlander.

I am a flatlander as well as I was born and raised in Detroit and now live in Harper Woods. Besides, I lived near Houghton Lake which is 100 miles south of the bridge.
